About Complete Container Services (CCS)

Mission Statement CCS exists to serve the intermodal transportation needs of its customers in the Rocky Mountain Region in a mutually profitable manner. Our success is measured by the dependability, quality and efficiency of the services we provide employing skilled, motivated people who will share in the profitability of the company through better benefits, improved working conditions, tools, and areas of service.

Company History

Complete Container Services (CCS) developed by contracting with steamship companies as an inland container depot providing maintenance, storage and dispatch. CCS began in August, 1980, when the company was purchased by BVD, Inc. Due to expanding operations, the company was moved to the present location at 6515 Delaware Street in August, 1981.

BVD, Inc. stands for Bill Vetos of Denver, the founder of this family-owned, Colorado-based company which includes wife Rosemary and daughter Abigail.

My wife, Rosemary, and I have owned and operated Complete Container Services since August 1980. Prior to owning CCS, our sister company, K&B Services began operating the piggyback ramp for the Denver, Rio Grande and Western Railroad in 1972 and continued to operate the ramp until 1994. DRGW is now part of Union Pacific Lines.

Our philosophy related to our business as well as our personal lives is to provide the best service by being honest and treating our customers and employees with respect. We feel the keyword related to our success is COMMUNICATION. Whether by e-mail or by fax, CCS insists on all requests for trucking or depot services to be written. This insures that if a mistake is made, responsibility is easily identified.

As a family owned small business, we are capable of providing personal attention to details that sometimes get lost in larger workplaces. "We go the extra mile."

We do have ICC approval for 48-states, general commodities and contract carrier authority; however, we focus on trucking in the states surrounding Colorado.

We currently depot for 18 steamship companies and perform trucking services for approximately 31 steamship lines. Due to our large fleet of CCS owned chassis we provide trucking for many lines that either do not depot in Denver or do not have chassis in Denver.
